Are you having a battery issue on your Macbook Pro & Air? It won’t charge to 100%? I had a same problem when charging my Macbook Pro Retina today. If you didn’t calibrate your Macbook battery for long time, It might happen. If your Macbook battery won’t charge to 100%, it’s time to calibrate your Macbook battery. Actually it’s good to calibrate Macbook battery once a month, then the life of battery last longer and get better. However, We are going to show you how to calibrate the Macbook battery. Please follow the instruction step by step.
Step 01. Use your Macbook without power adaptor until it shuts down by itself automatically due to very low battery power. (Please save your work before it shuts down by itself)
Step 02. Now leave your Macbook for 2-3 hours at least (The reason we are doing this is to drain all your Macbook battery power completely. Even if your Macbook shuts down itself due to very low battery power, it still has very low battery power left.)
Step 03. Plug the MacSafe Power Adaptor into your Macbook book and fully charge your Macbook. Once your Macbook is fully charged, Please keep charging for 2 hours more.
Step 04. Now repeat those steps one more time. (Use it till your Macbook shuts down by itself and leave it for 2-3 hours with empty battery power. And then try to fully charge your Macbook and keep charging your Macbook for 2 more hours even if your Macbook is fully charged.
Step 05. Once you complete this battery calibration, you will see your Macbook battery going to be fully charged to 100%.
