How to turn off automatic brightness control on android ?
When you first buy a smartphone, no matter an iPhone or an android based phone, most phones control screen brightness automatically. It is because of the automatic brightness control. It controls the brightness of your screen depends on the variety of lighting conditions. How to disable automatic brightness control on android
1. Go to  “Settings.”
2. Go to “Display.”
3. Find and disable “Adaptive brightness.”
4. Your android won’t optimize the screen brightness automatically.
5. Go to “Brightness level” to set the screen brightness.

In theory this is correct. Unfortunately, on my Sony Xperia X running Android 7, the adaptive brightness turns back on automatically. You can’t turn it off and have it stay off.

model infinix zero 5, there is no adaptive brightness on/off button in display, now what to do?
For switching adaptive brightness OFF & ON. Go to system setting display option and select brightness. On the brightness option bar, at right corner u find a symbol ‘A’ in green just by pressing ‘A’ u deactivate adaptive brightness.
