Did you get the error message while installing android updates? or loading forever? Today we are going to share the way to fix the problem through the Recovery Mode. We have two methods to resolve the problem. The first method we are going to try is to clean all caches on your Android smartphone and if it’s not working, we are going to perform factory reset. Factory resetting will delete all personal data and settings, so we recommend you to backup before performing factory reset.
Method 01. Wipe Caches Partition
- Performing Wipe Caches Partition on Nexus devices
- Completely Turn off Nexus device.
- Press the power button to turn on.
- When you see the Google logo, Press and Hold Volume Down button until your Nexus 5 vibrates.
- Navigate to Recovery Menu using the Volume buttons and Select it using the Power Button.
- Once you select the Recovery Menu, An android image will appear on the screen. Now Press and Hold the Volume Up button for 5 seconds until you get a new menu screen.
- Select Wipe Cache Partition from the menu, then it will be restarted automatically.
- Performing Wipe Caches Partition on Galaxy devices
- Turn off your Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge completely.
- Press and Hold Home + Power + Volume Up buttons at the same time and keep holding the buttons until you see the Android Logo. (You can release the buttons if you see the logo)
- Navigate to Wipe Cache Partition using the Volume Down button and Select it using the Power button.
- Wait until the process is finished. Select Reboot System Now when you have options to choose. Your Galaxy smartphone will be restarted automatically.
Note. If you are still having same problem even if you clean caches, we recommend you to restore your device to its factory settings. Please make a backup before performing factory reset.
Method 02. Factory Reset
- Performing Factory Reset on Nexus devices
- Completely Turn off Nexus device.
- Press the power button to turn on.
- When you see the Google logo, Press and Hold Volume Down button until your Nexus 5 vibrates.
- Navigate to Recovery Menu using the Volume buttons and Select it using the Power Button.
- Once you select the Recovery Menu, An android image will appear on the screen. Now Press and Hold the Volume Up button for 5 seconds until you get a new menu screen.
- Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and then select Yes – erase all user data
- Performing Factory Reset on Galaxy devices
- Turn off your Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge completely.
- Press and Hold Home + Power + Volume Up buttons at the same time and keep holding the buttons until you see the Android Logo. (You can release the buttons if you see the logo)
- Navigate to wipe data/factory reset using the Volume Down button and Select it using the Power button.
- Select yes delete all user data and then select reboot system now.
