Today we are going to share how to perform hard reset on Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime smartphone. Hard Resetting resets your mobile device to its factory settings, which means, it erases all of your data, pictures, videos, and etc. Since it erases all data, we recommend to make a backup file before starting. Also make sure that your battery is fully charged before starting.
Step 01. Turn Off your device completely.
Step 02. Press and Hold Down the Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time for few seconds and release the buttons when you see the option menu appears.
Step 03. Please navigate to Recovery with the volume down key and select it with the power key.
Step 04. When the Android logo appears, Press the power button to get into the recovery mode.
Step 05. Press the volume key to navigate to wipe data/factory reset and press the power button to select.
Step 06. Now select Yes – delete all user data and then choose reboot system now.
