If you want to get rid off the original zip file after you unzip it or if you want to keep both files, Please try the steps below. Hope this method is helpful for everyone 🙂
Step 01. Click the Spotlight Search icon at the top in the right corner. (Spotlight shortcut: Command (⌘) + Space bar) > Type archive utility in the search field > Double Click the Archive Utility.
Step 02. Click on Archive Utility on the top menu > Preferences
Step 03. Choose the right option for you.
– leave archive alone: You can keep the both files which are original zip file and the unzipped file.
– move archive to Trash: The original zip file will be deleted as soon as you unzip it.
