I took the advice of someone who suggested I had a look at any recently installed programs and found ‘malwareprotectionlive’. I used Control Panel to remove it, then I deleted its folder and finally I deleted everything in the registry that referred to it. That seems to ahve worked.
Nothing actually “works”,to remove this vicious bit of deviltry that has turned the internet into a flashing billboard strewn, search destroying web page freezing nightmare.
Resetting your browser settings in Chrome doesn’t do it so why bother putting this as advice.
Is there any browser that does not show this thing.
I read all this and followed it step by step and even though adchoices shows up when browsing ,it doesn’t show up in none of the registry as shown above so it must be hidden somehow.
No Adchocies do not show as it said it would in any of the instructions above. it should be possible to turn this and google ads off as they just clutter a web page and make loading the pages quite a bit slower. I should not have to put up with ads on websites if I do not want them.
Perhaps there is a bowser that doesn’t let ads show up on pages? Would be nice.

The above removal information is not pertinent and may actually be bogus. Don’t Waste Your Time.
I’ve been trying to get rid of this thing for years, now I have a modern laptop, Gemini Devices with 2gb ram and 32gb solid storage, it was quick for a while but now I keep seeing adchoices every where and web pages don’t respond for ages, think i’m better off getting myself a decent powerful tablet with usb mouse and Bluetooth keyboard, sick of computers..
