There probably a bunch of people how get this battery replacement warning message. It’s really good that your laptop aware your battery condition and letting you know it’s time to replace your battery. But sometime, It’s asking to replace your battery even though your battery condition is good. I want to share how to get rid off the battery replacement warning message on all HP laptops.
01. Turn off your computer.
02. Take off your battery and unplug your power cord from the laptop.
03. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
04. Put back your battery in and plug your power cord in.
05. Try to turn on your laptop and see if the battery warning message still there.
(Note. If this message comes up again in few days, your battery should be replaced.)

Hi. I own a HP Pavilion 2x. I found on other sites that I can bypass this error message by simply pressing enter but when I do, it turns off. What do I do?

Hello. It did not evade the message at startup for me. But i noticed that i can start the laptop without battery just plugged on. It wasn’t possible for me previously and that’s really great. Thank you
It worked for me, there was the error 601 for nearly 3 weeks, i nearly gave up and started looking for how to remove windows 10 error messages, but this really helped, i dont have the black screen error message anymore, thanks! 😀
