Hard Reset on Samsung Galaxy A3 & A5 (Factory resetting)

We are going share how to perform hard reset on Samsung Galaxy A3 & A5. There are few important things to do before performing hard reset. Please check the following things:

  • Make your battery is charged more than 50%, otherwise your phone might be turned off while resetting.
  • It’s safe to back up your phone before performing hard reset. (Hard resetting deletes all of your data and settings)
  • Do the soft reset first before the hard reset. You can resolve the problem without removing any of your data and settings.

 

SOFT RESET

Method 01. Press and Hold the power button for more than 10 seconds. (Phone will shut down and reboot).

Method 02. Try to detach the battery and replace it.

 

HARD RESET

Step 01. Press and hold down the power button for 5 to 10 seconds and tab on Power off to turn it off completely.

Step 02. Make sure your phone is completely shut down. If it’s turned off completely, Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power buttons at the same time until the Samsung Logo appears on the screen.

Step 03. In the Recovery mode, Select wipe data/factory reset with the volume down button and select it with the power button.

Step 04. It will ask you to continue. Select Yes.

Step 05. Wait until the hard resetting process is done. When the phone reboots by itself, process is done!
