Are you trying to perform hard reset and soft reset on Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen)? We are here to help you out! Before performing hard reset, we recommend to check few things!
- Battery: Make sure that your battery is fully charged.
- Soft Reset: Try soft resetting first. Sometime soft resetting solves a problem.
- Back up: Back up your important data. Hard resetting erases all of your data.
Soft Reset
step 01. Press and Hold the Power button for about 10 seconds until the screen turn to black. Phone will automatically reboot.
Hard Reset
Step 01. Make sure your phone is turned off completely.
Step 02. Press and hold Volume Down + Power buttons until you have the boot option menu on the screen.
Step 03. Press the volume key to navigate to Recovery option and select it with the power key.
Step 04. When the Android robot comes up on the screen, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power buttons until the Android system recovery mode appears.
Step 05. In the Android system recovery mode, select wipe data/factory reset.
Step 06. It will ask you to confirm. Select Yes — delete all user data
Step 07. After the process is done, select reboot system now.
