Hello everyone! It is P&T. It has been a long-time since we did update our blog. Because we are now uploading videos on our Youtube channel. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMiqNrlHX5dpIE9-MTC0TCg) So, let’s talk about Windows 10. It’s also been a while since Microsoft introduced Windows 10 in the market, and we are using Windows 10 on our laptops. Recently, while we are working on a laptop with Windows 10, it restarted the computer itself without asking us a permission. Of course, we lost all the unsaved works…. After we have this restarting, we did research on how to stop this, and we found the solution for this. Here is how.

 

Let’s go to Windows Settings!

Let’s go to Windows Settings, then let’s go to Update & Security. Click Windows Update. In here, you will see an option called “Change active hours”. That is it! Click it, and now you will be able to set your working hours on your computer. Between that hours, Windows won’t restart itself to apply new Windows updates. We wish there is an option to turn the automatic update off, but there isn’t one on Windows 10. It is probably because of the security concerns. Anyways, that is how to avoid Windows restarting.
