Here we’ve filmed this video to help people who have trouble connecting an external microphone to their GoPro. This applies to GoPro3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. You can connect both powered & unpowered external microphones to your GoPro after watching our video. In my case, I have a GoPro Hero 8 Black model, and I am connecting Edutige ETM-001, Olympus ME51S, and Zoom H2N Microphones to my GoPro 8 with a 3.5mm cable and a GoPro mic adapter.
