Today, We are going to share how to delete macvx malware from Mac OS X. Macvx is a malware that creates popup advertisements and advertising banners which users don’t want. Most of malware can’t be installed automatically. They are installing as a bundle software with other free software. So when you are installing free software, Please check carefully if this free software is installing with a third party softwares or not. You can always uncheck the box to third party software. Now let’s get it started!
Step 01. Uninstall macvx adware application from Mac OS X.
- Go to Application > find the software that has macvx > Mouse Right Click on the icon >Move to Trash > Mouse Right Click on Trash icon and Select Empty Trash
Step 02. Reset Browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox)
SAFARI WEB BROWSER
- Go to Preferences > Privacy Tab > Remove All Website Data
- Go to Extensions tab > Turn Off the extensions switch
CHROME WEB BROWSER
- Go to Extension > If there is a software that has macvx, Delete it by clicking trash icon.
- Go to Settings > Scroll down until you see Reset Settings button. > Click on the reset button.
FIREFOX WEB BROWSER
- Go to Settings > Add-ons > Extensions > If you see any extensions that has macvs, Please delete it.
- Type about:support in the URL address bar > Click on the Reset Firefox button.
