Did you get the error code (5002) from iTunes? This error code usually appears when you are downloading or purchasing applications from the iTunes (App Store).
First 01. Update your iTunes to Latest Version.
– Try to update your iTunes to latest version.
Second 02. Change your account information
01. Restart your computer and Launch iTunes.
02. Login to the iTunes Store with your account.
03. Go to Change Account Information > Remove your credit card information.
04. Click on Continue.
05. Restart your computer again
06. Login to the iTunes Store > Account Information> Fill out your credit card information again.
07. Click Continue to save the setting.
08. Try to purchase or download applications again.
for me the solution was to remove every acceent é à in every field of the credit card information. Can be done on the iPhone or with iTune
I got the 5002 error on my Mac after replacing a broken 6+ and downloading the backup from iCloud. The 6 worked fine after completing the backup however the Mac kept getting the 5002 error whenever I tried to login into iTunes. I completed steps 1 & 2, indicated above, however was still getting the error. After doing some further research ‘deleting my wish list from the 6’ then logging back into iTunes on the Mac fixed the issue. How deleting a wish list is related to this type of error is for me a mystery however it worked.
