Hello ! Today, it’s a news about Microsoft! Microsoft is a very famous company which developed and sold lots of copy of Windows Operating System. (Like Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 etc.) They are now testing a new operating system for your home called HomeOS. Microsoft has started researching on this project a long time ago, and their long term project is almost here.

The idea of HomeOS includes turning on&off lights, watching your security camera, chaging temperature of refrigerator, programming tv, and more using your smartphone or PC. Also, according to Microsoft research website, you can also interlink lights, tv, security cameras, gaming consoles, etc to your smartphone or PC, and those devices that are connected, will work like your computer peripheral. Like you connect a mice to your PC, the connected devices in your home will be your main system’s(PC or smartphone) peripheral. HomeOS provides an automated, centralized, and holistic control of devices in the home.

At this point, we are not sure what HomeOS is based on, but only thing we know is that HomeOS programmed based on C#, .NET Framework.
This kind of technology is not easy to commercialized, and we are not sure when it will be available to us, but it is true that HomeOS will bring us an advanced home automation.
