Today we are going to share how to perform reset and soft reset on Microsoft Lumia 550 smartphone. Please try to soft reset first before performing hard reset, because sometime soft reset resolves a problem. Since hard resetting erases all of your data and settings, we recommend to back up your phone. We also recommend you to check the battery is charged more than 50% before performing hard reset. Soft Reset
Step 01. Press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons together at the same time for about 10 seconds.
Step 02. You could see that your phone is vibrating and rebooting.
Hard Reset
Step 01. Please make sure your phone is completely turned off. (Press and hold the power button for few seconds and then slide down to turn it off)
Step 02. Press and Hold the Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time until the exclamation mark comes up on the screen.
Step 03. Now press buttons in the following order: Volume Up > Volume Down > Power > Volume Down.
Step 04. Once press the buttons, Microsoft Logo will appear on the screen and hard resetting starts to process. Please wait until the process is done.
