Here is a guid to perform hard reset & soft reset on Motorola DROID mini smartphone. If your Droid Mini is stuck at loading screen or keep getting a problem, you might want to run a hard reset. If your phone is not turning on? or black screen? or no response? or frozen? Try to run a Soft Reset. Soft reset might resolve those issues. Just few important things before starting.
- First: Check your battery is fully charged because the device might be turned off while progressing.
- Second: Perform soft reset first. It might resolve the problem.
- Third: Try to back up your important data. Hard reset erases all data. Please keep in mind this.
SOFT RESET
Step 01. Press and Hold Down Power button for about 5 – 10 seconds until the phone shuts down and reboots.
HARD RESET
Step 01. Make sure that your phone is turned off completely.
Step 02. Press and hold Volume Down + Power buttons until the boot option menu appears on the screen.
Step 03. Navigate to Recovery option using volume down button and select it with the power key.
Step 04. When the Android robot appears on the screen, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power buttons until the Android system recovery menu appears.
Step 05. In the Android system recovery menu, select wipe data/factory reset.
Step 06. It will ask you to confirm. Select Yes — delete all user data
Step 07. After the process is done, select reboot system now.
