Let’s fix SysMenu.dll Error Message – C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\System\SysMenu.dll
If there is anyone who got the SysMenu.dll error message, Don’t worry anymore! Here is the solution to get rid off the sysmenu.ell error message.
01. Locate to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\Maintenance
02. Find and Delete files that has “SMupdate“.
03. Locate to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\Multimedia
04. Find and Delete files that has “SMupdate“.
05. Click the address to download the .dll error message removal. (http://download.sysinternals.com/files/Autoruns.zip)
06. Launch the program and Go to Everything tab.
07.Find and Delete all the yellow highlighted line.
08. Go to Scheduled Tasks tab and do the same thing. (Delete every highlighted line by yellow)
09. Reboot your computer. You won’t see the SysMenu.dll error message anymore. Hope this is helpful for everyone.

I tried all my virus removers with no luck and also what was suggested above but it could not be found anywhere. The only thing that removed it completely and left my system clean and running faster than ever was adware cleaner.

What message do you get when you try to delete the file ?
I dont know if its the same problem as Firas but some of the yellow highlighted are not able to be removed. for me it says “error deleting start setting: the system cannot find the file specified”. any ideas?
