Today, We are going share how to locate and delete .Ink shortcut through registry on Windows 7. It’s very very easy! Please follow the instruction below to solve the issues. Hope this is helpful for everyone who’s trying to fix the problem.
Step 01. Go to Windows Start Menu > open Run
Step 02. Type in regedit and click Ok
Step 03. Locate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.lnk > Right Click on .Ink folder and Click on Delete
– Now try to scan your computer using free version of anti-malware software. Please see below.
Scan your computer using Malwarebytes freeware Anti-Virus
01. Visit this website. (http://www.malwarebytes.org)
02. Download Free Version Malwarebtes Anti-Virus.
03. Scan your computer through Malwarebytes and Click Quarantine All button when scanning is done.
04. Reboot your computer.
05. Now, We are going to reset the Internet Browser. (There is an instruction below for 3 different browsers. ex. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox)
