Today we are sharing a guide to perform hard reset and soft reset on Galaxy E7. Hard Resetting restores your phone to its factory default, so please be careful before performing hard reset. Please check the followings before the hard reset.
- Make sure the battery is charged more than 50%. (You are in big trouble if the phone is turned off while resetting)
- It’s always safe to make a backup file (Keep in mind that the hard resetting erases all of your files and personal settings)
- We recommend you to perform soft reset first before performing hard reset. (Some problems could be resolved by soft reset)
HOW TO SOFT RESET
Method 01. Press the power button for about 10 – 15 seconds. > Release the power button when the phone shuts down and reboots.
Method 02. Try to remove and replace the battery
HOW TO HARD RESET
Step 01. Turn off your phone completely. (Press the power button for few seconds and tab on Power Off)
Step 02. Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power keys together at the same time about 10 seconds.
Step 03. As soon as you get into the Android system recovery mode, Navigate to wipe data/factory reset using the volume down button and select it with the power button.
Step 04. It will ask you to confirm “Confirm wipe of all user data?”. Select Yes – delete all user data
Step 05. Now select reboot system now.
