Hard Reset & Soft Reset on Samsung Galaxy J3

Today we are going to share how to perform Galaxy J3 hard reset & soft reset. Since hard resetting deletes all data and settings on your phone, it’s safe to back up your phone before performing hard reset. Before performing soft reset and hard reset, try to fully charge your phone otherwise your phone might be turned off while hard reset progressing.

How to perform Soft Reset

Step 01. Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.

Step 02. Tab on Power Off when you get options to choose.

 

How to perform Hard Reset

Step 01. Please turn off your device pressing the power button for 5 – 10 seconds.

Step 02. Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power keys at the same time until the Samsung logo appears on the screen.

Step 03. In the Android system recovery mode, navigate to wipe data/factory reset with the volume key and select it with the power key.

Step 04. It will ask you to confirm to delete everything on your phone. Select Yes – delete all user data and then select reboot system now.
