Samsung Galaxy S5 – Stuck at loading screen or Black Screen

Is your Galaxy S5 keep rebooting? or stuck at Samsung Logo? or not responding? or won’t charge?

If your Galaxy S5 is in trouble all of sudden, try all of methods below before getting technical support. There are may reasons for those issues. One of the major reasons can be software crash. Sometime old system data could occur errors and it causes the issue. And If your Galaxy S5 was failed for the system update, booting issues could be occurred. However we are going to check the problem one by one and fix it.

01. Try to charge

Sometime low battery can cause the black screen issue and charging issue. If your phone is not responding or charging with the black screen, please try to plug it in and charge more than 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of battery charge, try to turn it on. Still not responding? With plug it in, Press and Hold Down the Power button about 15 – 20 seconds, until the phone turns on. If the screen turns on, you can release the power button.

02. Forced to reset

We are going to perform soft reset your device. Don’t worry, soft reset won’t delete any of your data or settings. It’s more like force to reboot the system. So if your Galaxy S5 is not responding in boot screen or Samsung Logo screen, Press and Hold the Power key more than 20 Seconds, until the device turns off and on again. If the device is rebooting, check if it’s passing the boot screen.

03. Re-Install External SD Card

Sometime issues could be occurred by the external SD Card. If an app in the SD card gets an error, it might affect whole system. In order to check if it’s a SD card, try to remove external SD card from the device (You can easily take it out from back cover of the phone), and check if you still have the issue. If the device works fine without the SD card, one of the Apps in the SD card is the cause of the problem.

What you should do if it’s an external SD card – Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on your computer. Now you have two options. First one is to find out the app causes the problem. But it’s not easy. Copy and past an app into other folder as a backup. now we are going to delete the app that you just copy and pasted from the SD card. And then try to insert SD card into your phone and see if you still get the issues. You have to repeat this step until you find out the app that has a problem.

It’s not easy to find out the app that has a problem from the SD card. If you don’t mind if all data is removed, you can simply format the external SD card.

Before starting, factory reset erases all of your data and personal settings, so if you have important pictures or videos, we are not recommend you to perform factor reset. Also it’s better to do with plug it in because if your phone turns off while it’s processing, it could bring more serious issues into the system.

07. Technical Support

If all of methods didn’t resolve the issues, we doubt that it’s a hardware issue. It could be a screen, battery, motherboard, and etc. Recently, we know that some people are trying to fix it, watching youtube, but we don’t recommend that way because other part could be damaged as well. Our recommendation is to get a technical support or visit any cellphone shop near by your place.
